Trags Cloud / Hosted MCP

Your memory, in Claude, Cursor and more.

Trags Cloud runs an MCP server at mcp.trags.ai. Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients connect with an OAuth sign-in or an API key, and can recall, remember and forget against the same memory your devices sync. Nothing to install.

Before you start

You need a Trags account. Clients that sign in with OAuth need nothing else. Clients that send a header need an API key: create one under Settings, API keys. Keys start with usr_, and each one gives full access to your memory, so treat it like a password.

Claude.ai and Claude Desktop

  1. In Claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Customize, Connectors.
  2. Click Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Trags, paste https://mcp.trags.ai/mcp and click Continue.
  4. A trags.ai sign-in opens in your browser. Sign in and approve the consent screen.
  5. The recall, remember and forget tools appear in chat. There is no key to paste.

The same steps work in any MCP client that supports OAuth.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http trags https://mcp.trags.ai/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer usr_your_key"

Replace usr_your_key with your key. Add --scope user to make the server available in every project instead of only the current one.

Other clients

Cursor and other clients that speak MCP over streamable HTTP and let you set a request header can connect. Point the client at the URL and send the key as a bearer token:

URL https://mcp.trags.ai/mcp
Header Authorization: Bearer usr_your_key

Tools

The three tools the hosted MCP server offers.
ToolWhat it does
recallSearches your memory by meaning and keywords and returns the best matches, each with its id. Read only.
rememberSaves a new memory. It syncs to your devices and shows up in recall within about a minute.
forgetDeletes one memory by id. The deletion syncs to every device.

Limits and revoking access

The server uses the same storage and the same recall limits as the rest of Trags Cloud. To disconnect a client, revoke its key under Settings, API keys; the next request it makes is refused. OAuth connectors are disconnected on the same page, under Connected Apps.
